About Sara
I’m a licensed social worker and psychotherapist living and working in Philadelphia, on Lenni Lenape land. I received my MSW at the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 2022 and my MA in Women and Gender Studies from San Francisco State University in 2019. I’ve previously worked at a queer and neurodiversity affirming group practice, a college counseling center, and as a sexual violence prevention and response coordinator at a large university. I’ve been on the core facilitation team for STRONGHOLD, a Bay Area racial and restorative justice collective, since 2019.
I’m passionate about transforming systems of harm through embodied, liberatory practice. I root into these values as a therapist by supporting individuals in cultivating deeper self and community accountability, agency, and connection. I’m committed to ongoing learning and have received training in Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Integrated Sex and Relationship Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Outside of therapy, I am often creating fiber arts, taking slow walks, baking, and spending time with loved ones in nature.
